Project for Media for Designers course at The Theatre School at DePaul University - Winter Quarter 2020

This project involved creating a three-dimensional vessel to tell the story of a piece of text. The chosen piece I worked from was Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, where I reimagined the iconic looks from the ending large drag cabaret number the three main characters perform. This project consists of four layered shadowboxes complete with sliding panels that reveal into another layer of the costume underneath. Each shadowbox also slides into a vessel that rotates and with each turn, the viewer can see the next 3 costumes in the number, while also sliding the acetate panels out, creating 24 individual looks in 8 different moments.
